A place for your next song.
LyricLab brings artists, producers and fans into one music community. Start with an idea, find a sound that moves you, and build connections around the music you make.
Built around three ways to take part
Artists can share songs, develop their profiles and work on lyrics. Producers can upload beats and connect with people looking for their next sound. Fans can discover creators, follow favorites and take part in the community without needing to release music of their own.
These roles share a space because a song rarely grows in isolation. A producer may have the right rhythm for a writer's unfinished hook. A listener may be the first person to return to a new release. LyricLab gives those connections a place to begin.
Make something before you chase numbers
Use the Lyric Pad to work through a line or song idea. Explore the available Open Verse and Beat Challenges for a creative prompt. Build a profile that gives listeners a clear introduction to your sound, and use credits to recognize the people who helped you make it.
Our public creator guides are available without an account. They walk through practical exercises for finishing a verse, preparing an upload and approaching a collaboration. There is no promise of fame or earnings: the aim is to make the next creative step easier to take.
LyricLab is open
LyricLab is free to join. Music sales, paid subscriptions and platform payouts are disabled. We continue improving features based on member feedback. The current registration form is for people ages 16 and older; the rules shown at signup govern participation.
Publishing a track is different from selling a license. Do not assume that a beat preview, an upload or a conversation gives you permission to commercially use someone else's music. Obtain the permissions you need and keep a copy of your agreements.
From Master lyric
LyricLab was started by Master lyric to give independent music a home for creation, connection and discovery. Questions, feature problems and community concerns can go to LyricLab support.
